LEADERSHIP EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE FOR EXECUTIVES

Awareness is the spark.
Integration is the advantage.

You’ve done the self-reflection. Now it’s time to turn emotional intelligence into steadier decision-making, stronger relationships, and more effective leadership under pressure. This 5-week executive cohort helps senior leaders translate emotional intelligence into how they communicate, navigate tension, lead other leaders, and shape culture.

Founding Cohort Begins: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 @ 4:00-5:30pm CT, meeting weekly for 5 weeks | Limited to 12 Executives

Who This Program Is Built For

Leaders who don’t want “interesting insights.” You want repeatable emotional intelligence practices that show up in meetings, conflict, and pressure.

Executives leading other leaders

At this level, EI becomes cultural leverage. This program helps you lead in a way that strengthens trust, communication, and accountability—not just in your own leadership, but across the leaders you manage.

Senior leaders navigating growth, complexity, or change

You’re carrying real pressure and need steadier self-management, stronger communication, and more intentional leadership under stress.

Self-aware leaders ready for deeper integration

You’ve likely done assessments, coaching, or meaningful reflection before. Now you want to turn awareness into consistent executive behavior.

This Program Is Not For You If…

A quick filter to make sure this is the right fit—and that you get real value from your time.

If you’re ready for structure, challenge, and practical support, this cohort was built for you.

The Executive Leadership Gap

Many executives already know their patterns, triggers, and blind spots. But when stakes are high, awareness without integration often turns into inconsistency. A leader may be thoughtful in reflection, but reactive in the moment. Clear in intention, but unclear in delivery. Committed to trust, but still hard to read under pressure.

That gap has consequences:

  • A missed cue in a key conversation quietly weakens trust.
  • Pressure turns a tense moment into a reactive exchange that lingers.
  • Unmanaged stress shapes tone, culture, and decisions more than leaders realize.

This program helps close the gap between what you know about yourself and how you actually lead when it matters most.

The 5-Week Executive EI Framework

A structured coaching journey for executives who want emotional intelligence to show up in how they lead.

WEEK 1

Self-Awareness Under Pressure

Identify the patterns, triggers, and default reactions that shape your leadership when stakes are high. This week helps you build a clearer understanding of how you show up under pressure so you can lead with more intention.

WEEK 2

Accurately Reading The Room

Strengthen your ability to recognize emotional cues, unspoken tension, and relational dynamics across your leadership team. You’ll improve how you interpret others so you can lead with more empathy, accuracy, and trust-building presence.

WEEK 3

Self-Management Mastery

Build practical tools for staying steady, clear, and constructive when pressure rises. This week focuses on emotional regulation, tone management, and responding in ways that protect both relationships and results.

WEEK 4

Leading Difficult Conversations

Apply emotional intelligence to feedback, conflict, boundaries, and repair. You’ll strengthen your ability to navigate difficult moments directly, without losing clarity, credibility, or connection.

"It was amazing. Our leaders really took the time and they were very engaged... They truly got some tools to think about the both idea and concept of burnout and stress management as individuals and also from the perspective of being leaders and taking the tools back to their teams. Thank you to Humessence, and, specifically, John and Julie, for leading such a great workshop."

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I miss a session?

We highly encourage live attendance to get the most out of the coaching segments and peer discussions. However, we know leadership is unpredictable. All sessions are recorded and uploaded to a private portal within 24 hours so you can catch up before the next week’s deep dive.

You should plan for approximately 2 hours per week:

  • 90 Minutes: Our live, interactive group coaching and training session.

  • 20–30 Minutes: “Fieldwork”—practical, high-leverage EI experiments to try out with your team in real-time.

Yes. Emotional Intelligence is the “universal language” of effective leadership. Whether you are leading a tech team, a manufacturing floor, or a non-profit, the core challenges remain the same: managing stress, building trust, and navigating conflict. Our previous participants come from diverse sectors including healthcare, engineering, and government.

There is a unique power in “The Mirror Effect.” In a group of 12 peers, you’ll realize that the emotional hurdles you face are shared by other high-level leaders. This environment provides a broader range of perspectives, safer “practice” opportunities for difficult conversations, and a built-in network of accountability that 1:1 sessions can’t replicate.

Because we cap each cohort at 12 participants to ensure deep interaction, spots are first-come, first-served. Simply click the “Secure Your Spot” button to complete your registration. Once the 12th spot is taken, registration will automatically close and move to a waitlist for our next cohort.

You’ll receive an immediate confirmation email with your calendar invites. One week before we begin, you’ll receive your “Deep Dive Prep Kit,” which includes instructions on how to bring your Leader EI Assessment results into our first session for analysis.
