I would highly recommend John as a resource to any organization. John was our meditation, yoga and coaching leader for a company workshop in November 2021. John is inspiring, reflective and provides guidance in an easily digestible format. We had group members who had never participated in yoga or meditation and felt inspired to incorporate both into their daily habits going forward. Working with John is a pleasure as his work is both experiential and academic. We collaborated on a training project and John designed, developed and delivered the mindfulness module. He not only delivered an impactful and engaging program that met our specifications, he did so through a virtual platform with global participants. No small feat. I also learned from him as his teachings are simple, profound and memorable.

Brett brings a wealth of hands-on experience and deep insights when it comes to the topic of leadership. I appreciate the vulnerability he demonstrates as he shares personal examples to illustrate key leadership practices. This is what humble leadership looks like. Brett’s insights about emotional intelligence (recognizing emotional triggers and managing reactions for a virtuous outcome) helped me think more deeply about what it means to lead self and others. I know what I don't want, but I never considered what I DO want in my ideal career, so I went through the Career Self-Discovery Program. It helped me discover just that, and the important things that contribute to success in my future roles. I was more patient in landing my ideal job. I was more confident and assertive in my job search. Now I have my dream job, where I'll have the opportunity to accomplish all of my goals and feel complete and happy.

At a time in my life when I was not sure where I wanted to go next in my career, John stepped in and helped guide me by creating a game plan and really digging into the things that were stopping me from pursuing the position I wanted next. Every time we meet, he peels back another layer of discovery that I am often unaware of. Recently imposter syndrome was blurring my vision, but John was able to teach me simple, realistic ways to change my words to change my perspective. I also had the pleasure of working with John prior to his coaching career - although now that I think about it, he's always been coaching me.

I took John’s workshop on giving and accepting feedback about 6 months ago and I’ve referred to the materials from the class at least 2-3 times a month. John was extremely helpful. I’m a senior-level technical consultant (seismic processing) working for multiple clients. I’ve never had to seriously market myself in the years that I’ve been a consultant. Recently, however, some of my clients have retired and/or had their companies sold. Thus I’ve found myself with a reduced workload.
